Supporting Adoption in the U.S. Black Families and U.S. Private Adoption
Adoption professionals often receive feedback from expectant Black mothers expressing a strong desire for more options that feature Black families as potential adoptive parents.
While Black families engage in adoption, private adoption is not widely practiced within the Black community. Adoption is increasingly gaining acceptance as a mainstream family planning option among Black individuals.
There are grants available to support various adoption initiatives, including special needs and international adoptions, but limited grants offered to encourage Black families to pursue private adoption.

Supporting organizations that serve orphaned, abandoned, and needy children in Ghana
Poverty is the common reason children become orphaned, needy and abandoned in Ghana.
Ghana's economic growth in 2019 led to a significant reduction in the country's poverty rate, nearly cutting it in half. However, there is still a considerable portion of Ghana's population that remains either multidimensionally poor or at risk of falling into poverty.
The long-term effects of poverty on children are profound and far-reaching. Without access to proper health services, adequate nutrition, and education, orphaned, needy, and abandoned children face challenges that can hinder their physical, cognitive, and social development, impacting their life outcomes.
Your act of generosity can have a ripple effect, changing not only the life of one child, but also the lives of their family and community.
